Hi everyone,I got a question.I would like your opinion.
I got a 90 and a 75 gallon FOWLR.Now my Question is what do u think about mixing the following fish.I got a chance to buy a 140 tank.48 1/2 X 24 1/2 X 28 1/2.

90 gallon consist of:

200#'s Live Rock....Hippo Tang - Pair Maroon Clowns - False Purcula Clown - Flame Angel - 3 Stripe Damsel - Yellow Wrasse

75 Gallon consist of: 140#'s Live rock.... Yellow Tang - Coral Beauty - Bengia Cardinal - Pair of False Percula clowns.

My only concern is the Angels and the Percula Clowns, fighting.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Pluff....

i really think for a 140G tank that would be alot of fish..

I mean the Hippo will get large, and the yellow will get semi large. the mixing of clowns i think could have some issues with fighting for space, the cardinal would be cool, but really think teh damsel would get agressive.

Sounds like a lot of rock to put in a 140. might be tight for swimming room.

I agree the percs would be a concern

You may also have problems with the tangs and could have problems with the angels.

Maybe add all the fish from one tank and the ones you know will get along. After they have adapted for a while float the competitor in a bag for a while and watch from a distance so the fish aren't spooked by you being there. If they aren't trying to get at each other thru the bag then you may be OK.. no guarantee, but its at least a test.

Hi Pluff....

My guess is the clowns would mix it up....
I would personallY LOSE the damsel....
Other then the above I would go for it but I would
only put 2 percs in that is in as far as clowns....

my .02

Good luck

Pluff,
Mixing fish can be tricky, especially with that much water, the blender would have to be HUGE :D
All kidding aside, in the 90 you'll have to choose which clowns you want, otherwise the Maroons will decide for you. And that might be a little bit too much rock if you want to keep a Hippo tang, they like lots of room to swim.
The angels and the clowns in the other tank shouldn't be a problem.

:D I hear ya Dman......Anyways i decided to wait till I find a 6 foot tank.My Maroon Clowns no way I'm parting with them.I had them 6 years now.But for the percs.I can sell them to the LFS.I will just keep my eyes open for a 6 foot tank.

Thanks Again guys,
