Just wanted to post about my new Refugium!:roflmao:
Its a 5gallon Fuge on a 65gallon tank. It is an Overflow style Refugium and contains Live sand, Live rock, Caulerpa and Macro algae!
ToooLoud is going to post some resized Blueprints I made up for those interested on getting a refugium on there tank! I will take some Pics of the actual tank and post them later on! Enjoy!:)

I may be reading your blueprint wrong but it appears that the powerhead will be connected to the spray bar at the bottom of your tank. I assume that the powerhead will be in your tank. When the power goes out, the spray bar/powerhead will start to syphon causing your refugium to drain to the same level as the display tank.
Since 80% of my refugium is above my display tank, I didn't want to drain all that water (about 20 gallons) in case of a power failure. The hose from my powerhead is only about 1 inch under the water surface which will result in a lot less water being syphoned out.
Maybe, in your case, there is a lot less difference in heights which wouldn't make this an issue.

My 5 gallon ref only sits with 50% of the tank above my main tank! so yea I'm not worried about it at all. BUT if someone is in your case or has there tank completely above the main it could cause a wet carpet! :)so be mindful! I prefer the spraybar at the bottom for circulation from behind my rock!
Another way to avoid this is to poke a pair small (spraybar Sized) Holes in the Flexable tubing just below the water line In the refugium. That way if I power outage were to occur the syphon would be interupted by air intake! Which actually may be my case Because I got a stand from Ikea to hold my tank above and I think its going to be a bit tall! lol:)

It is working out well! and thanks! It took me maybe half an hour before I was completely satisfied with it! lol! Did it all on paint!
I was just at Oakville Reef Gallery today! I ended up getting a couple of odd looking nudibrank's from Flavio. Kinda cool. Burgandy w/ blue pindots dcown its back. SOrta looks like it has little colt corals coming off its back! neat looking things! making sure they are reef safe.
