DMan: What are the dimensions of that tank? I like the shape - short, but deep front to back...

I could have one made of steel pretty cheap, then you get it powder coated. cheap as well.
If you want more info give me a call

Myka,
Thanks, the tank is a custom 187. 60*30*24 with a center overflow.
My last tank was a 200 picture window and I vowed to never, ever get a tank that deep again 72*36*18.
Slylie,
The hood will be finished some day, having a couple of kids eats into my time like there's no tomorrow. Thanks for the comments and I'm glad you liked it. The whole hood and stand will be apolstered in black top grain leather, very naughty :D
Sergio, I almost had enough extruded architectual aluminum to frame the hood with. I was trying to keep it as light as I could in order to facilitate removal; without having to buy a case of beer :D

Slylie,
Even with a 5 inch DSB I had trouble reaching the bottom of the tank with tongs. The deepest I could ever see my self with is 30 inches and even that's probably pushing it.
Next tank will probably be 96x48x30 or 600 gallons :D
Good thing the wife doesn't come on this board :D
