I personnely have never seen the arms being sold seperately. They aren't that expensive maybe it's easier just to replace the unit

Unless the arm is perfect it's going to give you erroneous readings. Best replace it or get a refractometer. Some of those needle float types can be WAY off.
www.myreefcreations.com sells refractometers for $50USD delivered anywhere in the US. If you've got a buddy in the states you can get him to ship it to you as a gift.

* I had to edit this because when I posted it last night I guess I was a wee bit tired. A couple of things didn't make sense, i.e. "erroneous errors". Would that mean they were correct? Hmmm...

Replace it...

As Paul_BB_Guy stated...it will give you false readings.

Better yet...invest in a Refractometer! MARVELOUS invention!

Ooops. I forgot to mention (duh) the $50USD from myreefcreations is a refractometer. I picked one up when I was in Virginia. They shipped it to the hotel No Problem!

They aren't sold to my knowledge. Even if they were...you would be looking at nearly the same price as replacing the whole thing.

Be careful, some of the cheaper hydrometer aren't that accurate, for that amount of money you have invested in your tank don't skimp on a hydrometer. Ypou may want to verify it against someone who has refractometer or a very accurate hydrometer. I had one that was off by 0.06
