reefer madness

I just finished reading this book and it wa a slow go to start but finished well. A lot it was deserving of being reread and that slowed me greatly but it was so full of information some was hard to digest the first time through. I was indeed surprised by the number of species that are currently bred, the book covers over 90 species. I got my copy for only about $30 on Amazon.ca and it was deliverred within about a week.
Matthew L. Wittenrich covers pretty much all facets of marine fish breeding from setups, modes of reproduction, broodstock care and selection, Eggs and Incubation, larval rearing, juvie grow out to culturing live food items and phytoplankton.
For species he cover fish from the Clownfish, Damsel, Dottyback, Fairy Basslets, Assesors, Jawfish, Cardinalfish, Blenny, Goby and Seahorse families. It even discusses the small successes that have been made in spawning and rearing pelagic spawners.
The book was just published this year by TFH Publications.
Money well spent for those interested,
Gary
