I saw a anemone at my LFS it was completely white(milky) with purple tips I cant seem to find any pics of one that which looked similar when I search Milky Purple Anemone on the web. Maybe its a false name? I dont have any pictures but the way I described it is the way it looks like exactly can anyone help?

Sounds like a Sebae Anemone - Heteractis crispa
...However - it should be more of a tan, green, etc. not white. Whenever you see white and anemones together; it's not good. This is common in Sebae's especially; as they seem to be problem shippers. The white is an indication of it expelling its symbiotic algae (zooxanthellae ).
They can sometimes be nursed back to health; with great lighting and a lot of TLC including daily feedings and careful observation.

Yeah that looks like it AJ thanks. It is alot more white though no tan/green on it. I wish I could get it to nurse it back to health but my tank most likely isnt old enough. I hope someone with a better established tank gets it quick.

Yeah I agree they do look great rentyn. From what ive read most wait about a 8 months - year or so before they put one into their tank. I'm getting there been 6 months! wow time is flying and i barely have anything in my tank yet haha. But before i add more i still want to better my circulation with some tunze nano's w/controller prob the 6055 and give 1 hydor koralia a go. That way I can compare the 2 and see which is the better of the 2. Too bad the koralia dont have a controller :(
