Where to Buy Cichlids?

Any freshwater Cichlid keepers out there?

I need to purchase cichlids for a new 90 gallon aquarium at my office.

I want to stock it with adult fish. I was thinking about 6 Yellow Labs, Hap Ahli, some small Frontosa.

Primary criteria - I want the fish to already have colour.
I can't put in a one inch fish and tell the boss to wait one to two years for the fish to mature.

Nothing too aggressive. Nothing too expensive.

Does anyone know where I can purchase quality fish? I live in Burlington.

Yes ... I completely forgot about Tom Herman’s and Glenn Marshall’s CRLCA (Canadian Rift Lake Cichlid Associates) in Guelph.

They specialize in wild caught and F1 if I recall correctly.

Aquarium Discount – I visited last during the first month that Mike took over. Have not visited since, but I think that I will make the drive down to see him.

Went by last weekend ... picked up some about ten cichlids ... 4 adult males ... great colour. Impressive store ... I suggested that Mike get an answering machine ... too many nice fish in the store to go without an answering machine. Hopefully there is one hooked up.
