I'm just curious who would be interested in owning a Mantis Shrimp!?

I personally would keep one for a little while at least to learn about it... If anyone local in the GTA has one... I would love to purchase or even adopt one!

I've got one in a wee little tank (I think it's like 5 gallon). I change water every so often (I pull it from the other tanks). He's a happy little thing - Scott MacGregor gave him to me. I'd love to have a peacock mantis. This guy is just a little boring black/brown one with white spots on the tail. The most amazing thing is to watch their eyes (they're kind of on the end of antennas) and they move them around as you move around the tank...

Would you be willing to give up your little 'boring' mantis shrimp?
lol because im looking for a little critter I can use for reaserch (no dicections or anything so no worries;)) I just need a small specimen to monitor and document for a while... if anyone has one I would be very greatfull, even if I have to pay!
