I have been trying to get my pair of false perculas to breed for a while.
I have tried pretty much everything i can think of. Ive changed lighting periods, givin them an anenome (which they ignore and i was told they were wild caught), and I feed them live brine shrimp. If anyone has any other ideas or advice, please tell me.

better living conditions maybe?
more live rock
skimmer
less fish
better filtration
looks like you need to do a little bit of reading before venturing any further into this hobby. you need to seriously reconsider your livestock and other parts of the aquarium (ie. the things i mentioned above).

Well, i cant add any more liverock and i have a protein skimmer but dont use it yet. I noticed that the clowns have started to clean their flower pot lately. should i change the temperature a little bit?

Leave them alone, they will breed if conditions are stable. The more you mess with things the less likely that they will feel unstressed, they need to feel that way before spawning will occur.
I suspect the greatest deterrent to spawning is the number of tankmates present.

:iagree:
No where near adequate for most of the animals you already have.
You NEED to learn about the way systems work BEFORE you do anything more; as you're already putting unnecessary stress on animals.
You NEED to:
Add more live rock - you should have 1.5-2lbs/gallon
Be running a quality skimmer
Research the animals you're keeping; as Tangs should only be kept in 100G or larger tanks (http://www.marinedepotlive.com/yellow-tang--hawaii----zebrasoma-flavescens-fish--tangs.html), same with Mandarin's, as they will starve to death without LOTS of live rock and a refugium to supply them with pods for food (http://www.marinedepotlive.com/green-mandarin-goby---pterosynchiropus-splendidus-fish--dragonettes.html); you have no-where near enough or the right animals for a clean-up crew.
Please stop and take the time to learn to do it right.
In respect to breeding - they will do it automatically when and IF the conditions are right. If they aren't comfortable - they wont'. You can't MAKE them do anything; and believe me, when/if they are comfortable and decide to 'get busy' - there will be no stopping them!

Hi nman10 You never now where they will take refuge but it could surprise you. I have a pair of True Perc's (I think) that took to my Sebae Anemone and then things started to happen. I also have a Bubble Tip Anemone that they won't even look at.
Good Luck and when they start it's fun to observe, they like their space though and will protect and take over a little area where their eggs are.

i don't get what you mean when you say you can't get anymore live rock? you only have half the neccessary amount for proper filtration, and you are severely overstocked.
i wouldn't want to be with my girlfriend in a small closet packed with a bunch of other people. that does NOT sound like fun to me. lol

WOW, no skimmer on a 65 gal with such number of fish? You must have to be doing your water change like everyday! That's way too much work, IMO.
I don't think you have given your clowns enough privacy to protect their eggs even if they wish to breed, and so they won't.

If there's an easier way to get them to breed, Dman wouldn't have to keep 37 pairs and only to have 17 breeding ;)
Same said for myself. LOL

Candles don't work, I've used a mirrored disco ball with some success.
Vapo,
Now I'm up to 42 pairs (three pairs are new) and 28 pairs spawning, 24 on a regular basis
