Hey Mike

Nice pics. Just curious...Does Kenny advocate the use of PC lighting to support crocea clams?

Kenny suggest that in any tank other than this one you run Halides, he had it in this tank just becoue alot of people are looking to keep the clams in here so he is more aless testing it out.. they have been in here for a week now and doing amazing! I seen these clams in his regular clam tank under 400watt halides and they are doing just as good in this nano cube..

But he does suggest halide lighting for his clams when he sells them.

Oh yea.. One thing i have found with Kenny.. Is he fair and very reasonable, unlike some LFS he does not make huge sales so he relies on his repeat business :) Really nice and joyful guy to deal with..

Hey Mike,

Is that a rose-tip at the corner of his sps tank? did you happen to ask him how much that is going for?

Kenny is a great guy to deal with. Does not carry huge inventory, but gets some nice stuff in. He must be doing something right, to last as long as he has. Remember going to his store on Sheppard ave, many moons ago. He had the biggest arrowawa i have ever seen.

yea he has been around now for 15 Years.. i remember going into his store when i was a kid on Sheppard..

Not all people like the look of coraline on the glass.. If that is what you are refering to..

Sure not everone does, doesnt mean that it doesnt grow. That tank is young. I can tell just by looking at it.

im talking about the nano, but relax.. I was simply making a point to vwfisher that his nano probably doesnt look like kenny's, because kenny has (in my estimation)... about $1000 in clams and sps in that tank.. ..

:)

But my point still stands.

That it takes time!.. The time and education to be able to maintain a system that small.. with that sort of live stock..

Not just anyone can go out and buy all that kind of live stock and dump it in to a tank that small.. and make it thirve.. :)
