Well....I am glad that someone else agrees that aptasia
does not mean FUN tasia.....
I saw a clam the other day that was just gorgeous.....
I wanted to buy it but the aptasia covered sides just turned me
right off....I believe the best maintenance is preventative and
I could have put it in my tank and fought for 6 months but could not be bothered.....
keep nuking tooloud...you'll get em...I beat em off one
time in my 180 gallon....ya just gotta be more stubborn
then them..and you will win.
I saw a tank full of live rock months ago totally covered in aptasia....the owner was convinced it could be beat.....
but it boils down to how many and how much time do you want to spend zapping the stuff.....bin there.....no fun...dont like that
if not necessary.
Very nice coral Tooloud.....if you frag em at $10 I will take one if you deliver it to the barbeque.

well the main problem i have with the aptaisa, is i cant win unless i tear the tank down, just becouse there are tons along the back of the rocks agasit the glass and stuff where i cant reach with out tearing out the rock, so for now im not in the mood to do that, BUT once i can find myself Copper Banded Butterfly who will eat the aptaisa Then im making some eggcrate racking and moving all my corals into my 30G tank will i move every piece of rock into my 150g with the CB and let him clean it all up.. then move what i need back into the coral tank!

Mike,
Did you get a chance to read my thread on the disease/problems forum regarding aptasia control and eradication techniques?
Which is found HERE (http://www.aquariumpros.ca/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=2679)
The CB is good for control, but will not wipe out Aptasia.

yea i seen your post, But its goes agaist my rules, 10 lines Max, when i see your post more than 10 lines long.. they usally are you on your "Soapbox" rambling :) lol haha!
But yea i did read it, But at this moment i do inject about 15 a day with Kalk.. dont do more than that becouse it is a 30G and dont want to have a PH spike, So i would still do the injections with the added CCB so with his help i should be able to destroy it.. i think! ..
i added 10 Peppermint shrimps, but never see them!
