I presently have 2 SH in a 25g, but I am about to transfer them into a 125g (72"long) that will also have soft corals. I have no idea what type of lighting (ballast and bulbs) that would be the BEST for these? Can anyone please help me?

Hi Izzy,
Just a couple words of warning on the transger. One alot of softies release toxins into the water that are harmful to seahorses. BEWARE!!!! Secondly, you will almost surely have to hand feed them and then setup a feeding station. That tank is going to be big for them to find and catch their food. You are safe with normal output bulbs, or you could go to PC's. Seahorses are not real fond of intense lighting.
Hope that helps.

Aaron??? is that you?? I thought you fell of the face of the earth :)
I guess thats the problem with summer, not many people are tending to their tanks.

Aaron would know better than anyone, but I would imagine putting 2 SH's in a 125 might be a mistake. Feeding them would definately be a challenge.

I will be leaving the SH in their own tank and will move on to the 125g with fish. Thank you for the info guys.
