Your a braver man than me. That is a pile of coral for 8 weeks, but it looks good, so it must be working.

good luck in the future, IMO just make sure you add your fish slower than that.

Hi Scott

Maybe I should have mentioned that most of the rock and corals were housed in a 135 for the last 3.5 years. I have added around 180 lbs of new live rock and 2-3" of Caribsea Select Grade aragonite. The diatom phase only lasted a couple of weeks. I'll be adding my SPS over the course of the next couple of weeks. Once the tank settles in, I'll start adding a few fish. I never realized how much fish add to a reef. I'm only running my lights at 60% capacity for the time being. I'll be ramping them up over the next couple of months.
