Just my 2 cents worth..
Great board and nice to have another Canadian version.
I wonder if maybe a few less smilies on the replies page would be benificial? They do take a while to load and I can't hounestly believe most reef hobiests are attracted to the board soley because of the huge selection of smilies we can place in replies :)
Also, on the store side of it. A while ago, another Canadian online retailer opened a web page with dry goods and live stock and the buzz on all the boards was excitment. This excitment faded over time as "under construction" seemed to be all they were selling. Several months later, no one was even mentioning their store on the boards anymore, virtual death in the Internet Online world. I visited that site today only to find they switched domain names and the new name is, well... 'UNDER CONSTRUCTION".
Now we find this new supplier coming online, Aquarium Pro's, they looked promissing and the boards were all a-buzz again with the toughts of some new blood in the Canadian market. But allas, after several months, a trip to see what tanks can be had, or what other items are here produces that dreaded 'UNDER CONSTRUCTION". I even notice on Aquarium Pro's own board (this one), no one is talking about this new source for the hobby anymore.. Once again, 'virtual' death is pending.
The Internet is popular for shopping for 2 reasons, it's instant and it's fast. In my opinion, places like this would best be left hidden until such time as they are truly open for business. I am not trying to be a prick, but I ordered some stuff before Xmas and to be hounest never thought to even check AP's site, had forgotten this board is attached to a store.
Lastly, one of the biggest things mentioned about that 'other' online outlet was how poorly they returned order info or E Mail questions. I felt that first hand when I attempted to order $150 worth of corals. After a week of E Mails regarding order status, then another week of run-arounds about when it would be shipped, we canceled the order. The only other message in this feedback forum is regarding a similer complaint.
I am being blunt, not to diss AP's, but to hopefully rattle the cage enough to get them into gear. All of us hobbiest welcome choices for our purchases, and we will use those choices if we feel safe in doing so. Slow or no replies and unfinished pages does not instill a feeling of confidence.
Just my 2 cents (or so)

ps. there is no link I could find from the board section to the actual store, should be..
