Are there no saltwater fish shops in Winnipeg? I personally wouldn't order fish online because I like to see them in the tank, swimming & eating before I buy. But, if you have to order online - the AP sponsors are all tried & true.

I assume at this point, you are at the planning stage and are not actually going to start ordering/purchasing any fish. You can't order everything at once, put it together and have an instant fully-stocked aquarium. Everything takes time...

There are posts in the "just getting started" forum that will help you get things set up in the right order and timeframe.

Registering on this site is a good step 1... :) If you are not 100% sure as to what equipment you need, don't be afraid to ask. When you have a list of equipment that you want to order, I'd suggest posting the list so that you can get feedback on your choices too.

People here have been through a lot -- good and bad -- and are always ready & willing to help.

ps/ resist the temptation to do anything with eBay... :) It's a fun place to look for new ideas for purchases, but don't buy anything there.
