Just wanted to give everyone some advanced notice that our server is going to be getting a memory infusion in the next 96-hours - and may experience a short OFF-LINE period.
Due to our rapidly growing community, and greater demands on the server - we are adding an additional 2Gig's of RAM to the database server (For a Total of 4Gig's on this server) to ensure smooth operation over the coming months. At present, we are still OK with our present hardware - however with the growth rates and added features - we want to ensure that everyone is able to continue to utilize AP.ca at the speeds everyone is used to.
The service ticket has been submitted to our maintenance team, and the hardware upgrade will occur within the next 96-hours...though we are not sure exactly when as yet. I'll advise when and IF I'm informed of a better time estimate.
Please excuse us if AP.ca is not accessible for brief periods over the next few days...we are working to make it as smooth as possible.
