Looks like the first meeting will take place Tuesday the 23rd. Say starting sometime around 6:30 or so and going till......

All are welcome. Please post here if you plan on attending.

I will post directions soon.

Also, lets get on the frag trading list for the meeting.. there have got to be some of you with frags to trade.

Burlington to St Catharines should take you 30-40 minutes depending on traffic and how fast you drive;) Traffic is typically only bad to you hit the big bend to come over the bridge after that is is normally smooth sailing

No problem with the link. If you want to bring something you can, but don't feel obligated to.

If you have any frags or aquarium stuf you want to try to trade i suggest you take a look at the frag trade list for the first meeting and post what you have (if anything) and what you are interested in. Some people will want something in return for frags, others will be willing to donate to newbies for future trades, so if there is anything you are looking for, post it in the other thread.

I'd like to come to the meeting if I can. I don't have a lot of frags but I do have a few odds and ends. I've got some star polyps on rocks, a rock with about six or seven red shrooms on it and a small colt coral that I can bring if any one is interested. went to petland today (the ONLY place i buy my aquarium stuff now) and asked about live sand ... they said they could order it in for next thurs, but it's like, $8.00-$8.99/lb ... Adam told me that i'm better off to find someone with an established tank and see if i could buy a pound or two from them ... (it's for a 16 gallon i'm turning into a nano reef for my mom)

i've got a crushed coral substrate in that tank right now, it's about 1/2" ... he said i could mix it right in and it would help speed things up ... i'll be going to buy some LR sometime next week (prolly mon or tues) and steal some more crushed coral from my 140 FW to deepen the substrate (4")

my question is, do you have any live sand that u may be able to sell me so i can get this going? thanks for any response ... even if you don't ... i told him i'd be in thursday morning if i didn't find any LOL.
