rock rubble?

im looking for a decent ammount, i plan to use some LR roughly 8-10lbs as base, then glue/mount rubble until i get my effect im looking for.. the rubble doesnt have to be alive.. i could care less. does anyone know where to get some? im looking for roughly the size of a computer mouse maybe smaller, weird shapes etc.

Just buy a few pieces of rock - and place them in a garbage bag - and drop the bag on the ground.

The only 'rubble' would be more the small stuff that comes in the LR shipping containers - but that's normally Loonie-sized or smaller (normally just dumped into the LR holding vats too)...

would it make a difference if you broke up some BR and used it as rubble

Try Ryan @ Where's The Reef. I got quite a bit of live rock rubble from him to use in my refugium. It was a while ago, but it's worth a try.

the only problem with most of the br i have seen is that is is very, plain n boring and looks almost as if its a brick/stone.

i could also care less if it was LR or dead. as im going to be taking it out of the water for hours at a time for it cure together.

yeah i agree BR is boring, i was curious if it mattered to use a mixe of BR and LR as i'm building my refugium

I just picked up some from Ryan @ WTR around 5 Lbs...

He is does not have much left, but it has good shapes, most pieces are around 2 x 3 inches... and it is very much alive as well :)

I belive he is getting more Live Rock next week so after that he should have more Rubble as well.
