I was wondering if the "*USB 2.0 Palm Size External Mobile Hard Drive Housing $47" is for a 2.5" laptop HD or for a 3.5" desktop HD. I'm looking for one for a "desktop" 3.5" HD, let me know what you have.

The one listed is an "External - USB" HD - so it connects via USB, and is self-contained in its own casing. It can be used with ANY system that has a USB interface. The $47 is only for the housing however. It takes the HD's listed below the initial listing.

If you have a standard IDE 3.5" drive that you want to use externally and connect via USB - the you would need:
EXT USB 2.0 HOUSING FOR OPTICAL DRIVE AND HDD - $99.00
