I am trying to build a second tank so I can hide my heaters and future skimmer, I was also looking at the skimmerles method any advice ?
I am going to have to use a small tank. I don't have the tankl though,
Also I cannot use bigger because of the design of the unit on which I have placed my Aquarium
I have about 45' wide 8 inches deep and 28 inch tall opening where I can place it. I am able to place the pump in another part though so all the room can go to the biggest tank that will fit
what do u suggest ? A tall bigger one or a small one 5 G perhaps
What kind of pump would be most suitable ? what size and model if possible also keep price in mind & I only have a small 48' x 18' x 12' tank so I dont want to go Rolls Roycey
I dont have my tank drilled, what can I do so I thought of running a intake pipe and run another output pipe
but then I realized that I woud have to use two pumps.
Thats a no no for me because my girls gonna be mad if these is a spill in case one fails or something. I realize that there maybe failsafe switched but I would not rely on them.
I dont have a over flow / fall thingy on my tank and dont want to undo the Tank and then build the section in the empty tank.
Are there other solutions to this ? Can I place a 7 inch diameter clear acrilyc tube and seal it on one end and then place it in the aquarium ( gotta get creative )
Any other info you feel is useful will be appreciated
