ID this nudibranch/slug/whatever!

Ryan at WTR snagged this little guy from a shipment and called me over to snap some shots ....no one knows what it really is.....anyone have a positive ID on it? it seemed to have a small mouth at first, but then we saw what it did with a small dead acro....damn!...it's mouth is huge!!!!!...looks like a vacuum cleaner!!

nope.....this guy is quite big (and seems to be made of elastic!)....zoa eating nudis are relatively small.

i had an opisthobranch in my ref. the skin was very similar looking to your slug. it was very very sticky and if you touched it, it would shed the leaves on it back.

the leaves or " cerata" start twitching. it actually gave me a good scare. that particular golf ball size opisthobranch crawled into a 1/8" airline.

it takes them alittle while to reply, but when it comes to i.d.ing nudis/slugs, they know thier stuff.
