What are you trying to identify from the 2nd picture? The red slimey algae spot? It's a little blurry...

I've found when I'm trying to get something identified, it helps to describe it as I see it... ie/ size, color variations, whether it hides when I look at it, etc.

First pic: Are those sponges okay for tank? Because i started to seeing them alot.

Second pic: I looked at the red slime algea its not it. Its really small its a dark red circle middle of it looks like yellow. It was just a little dot , now its getting bigger. It doesnt move at all. Even if i touch it.

Thanks

Well the pic is very small and blurry, and a better pic would definitely help, but here is my best guess from your brief description. This is a red algae and the best way to describe it is that it has a gelatin consistentcy. They usually start off as little red balls, which grow into thin plates or branches. As the plates or branches grow they develop a ruffled edge, with the exception of Haraldiophyllum. This red algae is called Red Dictyota and usually grows in tanks with good water quality conditions, the presence of the algae itself has a positive effect on water quality itself. The only down side to this algae is that it can over grow corals; to control its growth herbivores such as surgeonfishes or the Diadema Urchin or removal by hand.

Thanks alot. So if we have good water quality these guys comes up and if we have bad water quality something else comes up What a fun :)

One more question. I think i have 1 aptasia in one of the rock but i am not exactly sure because its at the very bottom rock and its really small. If its an aptasia how can i get rid of it? Injection is out of option because its really small and its impossible to inject. I have peppermint shrimp but he doesnt even touch it. He was doing good he got couple more aptasia but he doesnt touch this one. What should i do?

Thanks again

There are 2 options:

Manual Removal - ie. Injection
Predator - ie. Peppermint ShrimpOther then that - umm - cross your fingers and hope/pray it goes away. When it doesn't - we come back to the above two options. lol

:sorry:

if you can get at it with a glue brush, then mix up a Kalk paste (add Kalkwasser powder to a few drops of water and stir until it becomes very thick). Brush the paste onto the aiptasia or pest anemone, this will burn them and won't hurt your tank. Be sure to brush the paste onto an area 3 or 4 times beigger than the aiptasia, this will get any buds around the base.
