well here you can see i have just my metal halide installed..

its a 10k usiho 175 watt.. now i recently found out my RO Membrain was torn causing my Hair Algae issues..

So here is that shot!

Here is just two No's one Actinic and then one aquaglow not sure what the kelvin is on that but will be replacing it with another actinic..

And then here running the 2 no's and the one halide.. hard to even tell the nos are running..

I was supose to have had my 2x 55 watt PC( 1 10k 1 actinc) unit by now.. that i traded a Camera for.. that i think i might have just been screwed on! As it has not come in yet.. and its been 2 weeks.

you come by, mabey you can talk to Scott about overdriving that NO setup. Scott is into that DYI stuff.

Me....well it's best if I just buy it allready built.

Something to do with the saftey of the animals or something like that.

I dont know if they make one but if you got a 175 watt Radium you probably wouldn't need actinics as they are BLUE

Looks good, What size is that tank? Looks square. 40g?

Just out of curiosity how did you find out that your ro filter was torn.

Chris the tank is a 33 gallon tank.. i think... its 30L 22h 12D

Wayne's, Found out becouse i started getting the Hair Algae growth.. and tested the phosphates and they where high so right away i thought about my Ro.. so i went to take it out and have it flushed when i seen it was torn..

nice to have all the lights workin eh tooloud....
For years I skimped on lights and I guess I got buy
excellent but...its nice to have some good lighting.....
bet you feel good having it set up.....
good thing you found the tear in the RO or you
would be fighting algae likely for a loooonnngg looonngg time
wondering WHY WHY WHY??

Yea its not the first time i have had the Hair issues.. So i have learned to start from the bottom up..
