Hi all,
A newly acquired Sun Coral species which I've not seen before (well...speaking for myself and another member..:hihi: ). Anyways I have a question here about a Hitch hiker which has a pair of Hairy feelers and if you try to look closely in the center (above the Yellow Sponge) of the two attached pictures (w/o Flash & Flash modes) whether you can ID what the heck it is??

This is the actual colour with no camera flash utilised and it's Pinkish Red tip and also longer and slimmer tubulars unlike the common Sun Corals. See snail on the bottom left for comparison....

Any idea what this is...it's hidden in the empty Calcareous skeleton!!

Thank You.

Nah...it's pair of feelers which is covered in kind of Bristle Hair Like formation!! I'll probably have to "Dig In" and check it out tonite...don't want to give it the chance to mess around with my Babe coral..

Hey Paul, its a rarer form of a sun coral. This one is 'branching' and thus more rare in the hobby.
