near disaster

I get a phone call from the wife informing me that my 2 year old got into the salt and decided to help daddy. Scoop after scoop into the sump :eek1:

Needless to say I was kicking myself for forgetting to put the lid back on last night. Had to empty the 40 gallon sump completly and wash all the salt out. Corals were not happy.

I know you love your kids dearly :)

How goes the tank? If your salinity didn't fluctuate for an extended period of time there should be no long term damage.
