I'm culturing rotifers that I bought off Dman. I feed dont feed them live phyto though, i feed them frozen paste. They have been pretty simple to keep so far, with only one crash while I was moving and ignore them for a week. OOps.

I strain the rotifers out with a coffee filter, and feed every few days.

When i feed them to the tank, the fish dont notice anything amiss, but my bubble coral and Plate coral happilly puff up, and the rock anemone's I've got twitch their tentacles (grabbing the rotifers i guess.)

Looked at them under the microscope, and they are crazy looking things!

I have been culturing phytoplankton for a few months now, I use it to feed baby brine shrimps. It takes some practice but once you get things under control it is pretty easy :)
I bought all my supplies from the FloridaFarm
