Your inital post was not a question.. It came across as an AMWAY sales pitch. After all the years in the navy I have I can see those for what they are.. Hype..

I took the time today to research everything I could about Pi water systems. And I posted them here.. You wanted info.. I supplied some.. You want all the links I can post those as well.

They are preying on people who are looking for a way to help a problem they have of one sort of another.. I have been there. I deal with IBD(Inflammatory Bowel Disease) and ulcers every day of my life. I have seen all the scams..

In a short time you have truly discovered what we are to expect from this newly established board.

You were asked to provide proof of your concerns with the product in question, and did just that. And what did you get for your efforts? The thread closed in just 6 short hours, just enough time for Board owners girlfriend and the Board owner to respond. How convenient.

I do not care about the product posted, I am concerned with the utter disrespect given to Troy F and DJ88 with the thread being closed after they provided what they were asked to before others could respond. When the powers above weld their power at the slightest sign of repute, it makes me question why?

caveat emptor - buyer beware >>> Troy F was just practicing this long standing tradition and was shunned for it from the seller of products. I can only imagine how Troy F will practice caveat emptor in the future.

This was attempted to be posted as a Research (Q&A) question, and not a huge argument. I have seen way to much of the flaming and other argument BS on other boards.

I may have worded my initial post improperly, and for that I apologize...however, as I tried to clarify my intentions in subsequent posts and get any helpful input, all that happened was a bigger fight. I put this forum here to HELP people (the forum costs me money, and I get no money in return for it...only the knowledge that 'we' may have helped someone), and don't need it to get out of hand from something so minor. I closed the thread to end the dispute I seem to have started. I will be doing some testing over the next month + and I will report what I find be it positive or negative. I don't have a problem with opinions, but I was looking to see if I could get any pros/cons that had been personally experienced...and wasn't trying to get into a boxing match with anyone. As I said...I may have phrased the initial post in a way that was misunderstood...and for this I am sorry, but I don't want this forum to get to the levels of BS found on other boards.

I'm not condoning anyone's posts in this thread (including my own)...and personally think that it's better forgotten then to continue to scrap about it in vain. It's easy to read a post in the wrong way, as words can be written in a peaceful way, and still be taken aggressively. I am under a lot of stress and pressure with the business set-up and other things...and may have had a shorter fuse then I normally have. I really was only is search of known facts to assist my research, and don't in anyway claim to know too much about this whole thing except for what I have read. All the information I posted that went into any detail...were from independent sites, and not from the Manufacturer. The manufacturer's site is www.nikken.com and any other sites linked to are completely independent...and so are their claims. There are recently very strict laws in what an alternative health provider can "CLAIM", and thus it limits what any company will list. The 'principal' or 'technology' regarding 'pi' is very old...this product id the only thing that's new.

Although I do have this product available to me to sell...I wasn't asking for anyone to BUY it...only check it out and provide input. So despite this being a businesses forum...I was only in search of information not orders.

I hope that this doesn't cause anyone to leave the board, but if you have been insulted and wish to leave, then all I can do is apologize for it, and wish you well.

I think we've all realized that passionate people are involved in reefkeeping. While I agree it was about time for the thread to close, everyone would have liked to get thier last 2 bits in I'm sure.

Obviously little came from the thread, so I'd rather agree that we all have opinions on it, and leave it at that.

Thankfully we all have opinions on all the different reefkeeping methods and products, otherwise boards like these would be barren of content, and we wouldn't grow at all in our hobbies.

Thanks for everyone contributing, I think we're all grown-ups here and hopefully took something from it. Now lets let PI water rest in peace for a while.
