swissgaurd, I am gonna ask again :) How does the depth of the rock picked from matters? :)

60 ft is too deep to have any coraline algae to grow, miyiki is known for it's beautiful purple color.

Actually coraline algae grows better in deeper waters where the light isn't so intense like near the surface. Coraline algae grows best under moderate bluer light than an intense light. For instance, if you see tanks that run VHO lighting with white and blue bulbs they have very fast and lots of coraline growth compared to a tank that has intense metal halide lighting in the white spectrum. Not saying you won't see coraline growth on the surface area of reefs but you will see it at 60ft as well

i do prefer rock at that depth and deeper i find that rock at greater depths
is much cleaner, doesnt have the sewer smell.sometimes you may get a hard coral that survives.

good rock. good price.

medium density excellent !!
