I guess there will be a new skimmer soon for nanos.

The “Nano” model series has been designed for the use in reef biotopes up to 200 litres (52 US gal.), and is gentle to the plankton in operation. The DOC Skimmer 9002 removes up to 80 per cent of organic waste matter, such as protein and cellulose, from the aquarium water. Very little space is required in the aquarium, and its handling is very easy. On account of their construction, these models are particularly quiet during operation. On account of the high demands in stone coral aquariums, this skimmer should be used only in aquariums with about 100 litres (26 US gal.) of water. Mixed aquariums or soft coral aquariums up to 200 litres (52 US gal.) can be set up without any problems.
Delivery condition: Completely ready for mounting with holding device for vertical panes and horizontal glass tops up to 39 mm (1.5 in).

Nanotuners have the skimmer listed at $135.95 (USD I believe) for a presale listing. It may go up after the release but I doubt by much. I couldn't find the powerhead listed with anyone but it looks like a nice unit.

Well the Nano streams are out. Incredible Aquarium (London) will have them for ~$165 and in stock on Wednesday. Reef perfection has said he'll also carry them as soon as he can get his hands on them. I'd imagine it'll be around the $150 mark as well. Maybe I'll get lucky and be able to sneak off to Reef perfection and pick up the pump as well as another one of those amazing corals.

I forgot to mention they are cheaper than I thought they would be.

And larger than I thought. Quite big for a 'nano'.

At 2.7"in diameter plus the mag mount they are a bit bulky, but less so then the regular stream.

I am probably going to get 2 of the controllable ones and hook them into my controller and have some fun :)

I think the one big advantage is that they are much more flexible in terms of mounting configs.

Ok, right now I'm laughing at myself. I thought the actual size picture was alot larger than 2.7" so I loaded up the pdf page and yep it's bigger but wait... it loads at 161% zoom. Brought it down to 100% and shook my head laughing, omg...

It's not all that big at all.
