Hi all,

I am just curious to know what time people turn thier lights on at? Is there a "better" time to have your lights on or off?

I am running 2x65watt p.c's and am currently leaving them of from 12-12, is this a good time or no?

any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks
Ruth

There's no real set time for the lights to come on. Some have them turn on early and turn off early, and vice versa. Just keep the time on/off consistant. 12 hours a day is fine.

I have 4 lights on my tank with each bulb turning on/off in sequence. First light comes on at 11am, then the second light at 11:30am, and so on. Then the first light turns off at 8:30pm, the second light at 9pm, and so on.

Just tailor your lights on/off times to your schedule. HTH

I have to ask this one because it's closely related without starting my own thread.
What about rooms that have alot of natural light, if you go outside peak daylight hours are you not extending their day?
