Hi all:

We are building a calcium reactor as per the specs listed at http://www.animalnetwork.com/fish2/aqfm/1998/mar/features/2/default.asp

Can anyone tell me if they have tried this particular design and
how it worked, didnt work, or if there is something I should change.
We have a 100 gallon tank.

Or failing that, does anyone know of an excellent online
site for a calcium reactor that works well?

Hi aquarius,

There's an excellent design for a calcium reactor on RC at the following thread

http://reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=144438&highlight=calcium+reactor

You'll find excellent info when you site hop between here, RC, RDO and CanReef.

Every site has different people with different expertise and different perspectives. Enjoy!

Hi Chris_Reef,

You can get to Reefs.Org thru the following link. Unless you're registered you won't see any pics.

Regarding DJ88 reator plans on ReefCentral,I ordered the acrylic cut to his diagram minus the base and it only $60, and I picked up the fittings at HomeDepot, they are similar to John Guest fittings.
I hope this helps.:blob:
