Anyone know where to find breeding info on Xanthichthys Triggers? There is some info about Clown Triggers spawning, but that is all I can find. My pair court every 2 weeks. They dig a pit....as triggers do when they spawn. The female gets very aggressive protecting her space, she will even face off with the Desjardinii and Regal who are much larger....rulers of the glass box, the male, on the other hand, could care less....He has only one thing on his mind I think!! They seem to have spawned twice so far. Problem is, unlike the reef dwelling triggers, I think the Crosshatch broadcast spawn. Or, the pair are young and haven't figured out that the eggs are supposed to be released in the nest(pit), not in the water column. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
