I have a few brand new pipefish:bsmile: that i bought from NAFB. They are the alligators. They have a great appetitie, and love taking the food by i feed by hand.

I have noticed though the past two days that they love pecking off the algae on the back glass or rocks that i am still trying to get rid of. Does anyone know if it can hurt them.?

I have beening researching pipefish and sea horses for many years and i can not remember ever reading that they like algae.

My other ones dont even look at it in their tank, at least not that i notice.

I am worrying about syphon cleaning the sand later because i dont want to stir things up but with just one blue legg hermit it is a bit dirty because i tried catching a damsel that had been somehow overlooked.
