:confused: As my tank is cycling,when i do i salt test..Its at 1.019 and i added more salt and it didn't seem to go up to where it susposed to be?Should i just keep adding salt till its up where its susposed to be,or is normal for it to go down while the tank is cycling?:confused: :worried:

The salinity in your tank shouldn't change much, if at all during the cycle. It's ok for you to add salt right to the aquarium, but do it slowly so you aren't causing the salinty to go too high. I would add a couple cups of salt, then test after an hour or so. If it still is low, add another cup or two.
Your tank is too new to have any salt creep, so your salinity should only be going higher due to normal evaporation. That's another reason to keep it lower (1.023-1.024) until you get a feel for your regular evaporation and salinity swings over the coming months.
