Thanks for the help and words of encouragement, sometimes you just can't help thinking your doing something wrong. These phophate sponges , are they sold advertised as just that or is there a commercial name for them . I know my seaclone isn't the best and often find myself wondering if I haven't got enough filtering but I would think if I didn't I would see other signs like ammonia spikes. Just one more question if you don't mind, I have a Emperior 400 and was wondering if it would be better to run it (without media & biowheels ) over the fluval 404 with or without the ceramics ?
