hammertone is a reflective metal that looks like it's been beet with a ballpeen hammer.
More reflective than white or polished

I'll second that question since I'm just starting to build my light hood and need some reflectors. Thanks.

Reefin,
I co-own a store in Vancouver Wa. I don't know how you were planning to mount them but I thought if you hadn't decided yet you could check these out. We sell some reflectors that surround the bulb and cast the light right into the tank. You can check them out at our site. Take a look at them I bet you could cut the stuff you have and shape it like ours... Keep us posted on how it turns out.

heavan,
I tried to find a pic of the reflectors you were refering to, no luc. Any way you could just post it to this thread? I am curious as I am just about to put the MH over my tank and could use some ideas for reflectors.
Thankx

Dman,
I don't think they are made from Hammertone so I am not sure you'll get the intencity. I also did some price comparisons I think it might be cheaper to just buy the reflectors if you factor your time.

Good Luck:)
