CLOUDY WATER

How long does it take for the water to become clear?My water is really really cloudy:sad: This is just a new tank setup.:dance:

If you followed canadawest's instructions from an earlier post, then when you have turned you pumps and powerheads back on you would have a milky tank again. If you used a really fine sugar sized or smaller grain of sand as part of your substrate, then you tank could be couldy for as long as two weeks, mine was a little longer due to the size of my tank and sand; and the turbidity of my water.

Ok Dman :sad: i didn't think it would take that long,but i guess i will have to wait.do u think its ok to go buy some live rock today and put it in the tank,even if it cloudy?:confused:

Yes, but setting up rock in a cloudy tank can be difficult without extraordinary superpowered vision
