Hi
I want to know, from your experience, are reidi better beginner seahorses than barbouri? if so, could you tell me why?
and another little question: Aaron, do you have tropical seahorses in stock? could you tell me the species and the price?
thanks a lot!!

Well, I guess it depends on why you want the horses. If you want to try breeding, then I think barbouri would be better (bigger fry) but if they are just for pets, either will be fine, and reidi will be easier to find.
On another note, if you can find barbouri in Canada, there are plenty of us in southern Ontario that would love to know where you found them.
Last I heard Aaron had a very long waiting list for his horses. Some other sponsors have a few horses in stock last time I checked (reefraft)

I tried for months to buy from Aaron again, but communication left me frustrated so I bought from Reef Raft.
I too am looking for Barbs.

We do have CB seahorses (H. Reidi) instock. We have never broguht in the H. Barbouri and don't know much about them.
The best person to talk to about horses is Aaron as he is very knowlegeable regariding these animals.
Thank you.

Check out marte's tank here, www.reefvideos.com He talks about his Redi's quite a bit. He's known as Lukan on this forum. He keeps his tank at like 84 degrees.
Can most seahorses be kept at normal reef temps, or is it just the Redi's?

I would greatly suggest you go to www.seahorse.org The people there are great, and you in return will be getting some very valuable information!
