Hi,

firstly this is not a bashing thread. I'm simply placing this thread here so that (hopefully) someone from Reef raft will see it. My first thread is under the "Reviews" section and I haven't gotten any replies. For the second time I drove down to Reef Raft from Kitchener with 2 of my buddies last Friday and they were closed. Even after I called to confirm they were open until 8pm. We got there around 7pm and it was locked up! Once again I drove over an hour to buy frags and no one was even there. It's like they don't even want our business.
Talk about customer service!

I simply called the number listed on their website I don't know it by memory. Has anyone else had a good/bad experience with this company? Does anyone know of other options to get some nice Acropora?

One option would be to place a "Wanted" ad in the classifieds. There are quite a few members who regularily frag their stock.

We had to shut down early as we had power outage and we ran out of water. We also change our voice msg to let everyone know.

Really...that's what happened...unless your RO system stopped working or you were out of salt (being a fish store I find that strange), the well underneath the store must have dried up. No need to apologize by the way you've only wasted about 5-6 hours of driving time (over the last two visits) for me and my friends. Nice.

We had to bag up 220 pcs of acropora and we ran out of mixed water. If there's anything we could do.. let us know to make up for your wasted time. We apologize for the inconvenience.

I've had only good experience with RR. I know how you might feel since it happened to me once however I didn't call prior to leaving, and I didn't check AP forum, well... :D

Their customer service is very good! I highly recommend their corals and advise, once you'll meet them you will be a happy customer. Try to get there on a shipment day ;)

Did I mention good prices!?

Honestly, do you even read these boards? Do you randomly just post?


They have been saying for a while now that they dont have enought time do update their website and work the store full time. They are in the process of hiring someone to do that right now. Be patient and read the threads first!
