Nice Montipora! Be sure to give it alot of light to keep that gorgeous purple pigment.

I am finding high alk makes more of a difference than light.. It had the same color under my 175 as it does now under my hqi's but if my alk drops below 9 all my colors start to get dull.
I grows like a weed, more than a cm per week.

I keep my purple, orange, and green montiporas (digitata) under 400 watt MH 6500K and three VHO Atinics...They have all easily doubled in size in just a few months....it'll be fraggin time soon.
Just my 2 cents worth.

Oh yes...I find high current will produce dense polyps and more velvet looking monti's....
