like a clam or a brain or something :)

hey i was wondering
can i bring up my skimmer and see if you can figure something out for me
i need to get a union for it but all the ones i find are not threaded the same as the skimmer
or price me out another skimmer for my 75gallon pred tank with i think its about 20 or 30gallon sump/refugium

some pumps and skimmers use proprietory fittings....my ocean runner skimmer pump makes use of a bushing that does not match any standard pipe sizes sold commerically...i took it to JJ Downs...they took one look at it and said the size was specific to the company, if not the actual pump model it came from......so i had to swap it out for a whole new bushing....works fine now..

but then again.....maybe you've got metric and sae(?) mixed up??
