Hi all
I have been reading the threads for a bit and decided to try my hand at 1.
A breif description of my set up.
TANK 48"l X 24"h x 18"w approx 77GAL (CAn) 90 Gal US
115lb or so of LR
crabs, snails, slugs, shrimp(6) 2 cleaner, 2 blood, 2 Peppermint Royal Gramma, Bengai Cardinal, pair of Chromis, Goby (who likes to build with the Argonite sand on the bottom) , Anthia, Mandarin Goby couple of starfish, button polyps, star polyps, two kind of Brain coral couple Blue Musrooms and a rock of green mushrooms, and 1 small leather. (please excuse any spelling mistakes 6 months ago I couldn't spell saltwater tank)
OH YEAH I just about forgot 8 SeaHorses (4 male and 4 female)
20 gal sump with bioball filter.. adn a berlin Skimmer

to my question
I have two hitchikers that came in the LR that I would love to know what they are? Unfortunatley I have no pictures yet but here is a description:
1) it is attched to the rock and hides in a 1"x1" crevis it is about as thich as an old style pencil (y'know the fat ones ) and can extend up to 2" outside the rock at night mostly and he/she it has a head green around the mouth with flecks of black and red and the tenticles are arounds the circular body at the head a re blck. (reading this it doesn't sound like a great description but any ideas?)
2) is simular to #1 but on a different rock and the tenticles are Brite RED with a samller red face (this one is only as thick as a regular pencil)
both have the appearance of a gelatineous ouside and retract back itno the roc
For my last question can anyone reccommend any reference guides (for home use not too complicated) to find the names of the fish, corals, inverts for a saltwater hobbiest?
