Hi all need your help again.I recently bought a green BTA and about a week later i went out and bought a pair of true percs thinking they would host in it right away(wrong). Is there anything i can do to get them into the BTA?

THANKS

There's no telling what your clowns are going to host, at first mine hosted the powerheads and then my green hairy mushroom. This is where they stayed but I know it can take a considerable amount of time for them to settle. As for trying to encourage them, I've never heard of a method other than patience!

mpleleaf is right :)

Actually sometimes you might have better luck not having them host in the anemone. Here is my expereince, two ocellaris swimming around fine and doing their pairing activities, once one hosted at the green bta, it started to get aggressive after a week and chased the other one around, until finally the weaker one had to jump out of the tank to escape the aggression. They never do pair up. So things like this can happen.

It happened to mine too but I setup another tank for the beaten one.

I am not sure whether this will work as I didn't need to try this to have them hosted in the anemones:
You can starve the clowns for two days and then put the food on top of the anemone so the fish may go in and eat the food; if not, no harm done as you also need to feed your anemone from time to time :)
