I hope some experts can chime in regarding this. I use the RO/DI system I have on a weekly basis and am really curious about how it works. So far, I understand the pre-filters, but the DI stage kinda stumps me.

Is DI resin pre-dominantly anion resin? Or is it a mix of both?

Thanks!

It is a mix of both. It consists of positive and negative charged plastic resins. These resins remove the particles from the water via positive or negative charge.

Thanks AJ & Bryan,

What percentage should the cations and anions be in the DI cartridge? 50/50?
