Bryan,

If I follow your various posts in previous threads then your perfect system would include the following products form your web site:

4 stage 100 gpd Aquarium Reverse osmosis system, from the title is reads that it isn't a RO/DI system but the desciption says that it has the DI unit as stage 4. Can you clarify this for me.

If the above is not DI then add in the DI add on kit, if the above does have the DI as stated, I am assuming that the DI add on kit is for other models tha tyou sell that do not have a DI feature.

8800 Booster Pump
Aquatec Permeate Pump
Auto Shut off kit
or a tank level controller and transformer if you wanted to get really speacial

Auto-Flush Timer Valve

Does that just about sum up the "perfect" setup for an Aquarium system? Am I missing anything?

This is assuming that you will be using a seperate storeage tank for your top off water and transferring to another tank for your mixing.

Cheers!!

Pat

That sounds good to me!
By the way the 4 stage is an RO DI :)

You can give me a call if you have any questions as well

Not to Hijack this thread but if falls in line........

Most units have the DI chamber mounted horizontally.
I have been reading that a lot of guys are modifying that and mounting them vertically. Is there in fact any benefit to doing this? The logic makes sense to me but why do manufactures continue to mount horizontal.

Thanks
Chris

Actually it is very small group of systems that offer the top sideways DI.
This is an import from Taiwan design. These people are basicly resellers.

I dont have any input on this design at this time but simply put the top sideways design is not as effective as the normal cannister design.

We are still in the middle of testing the 2 against eachother and it would be unfair to judge the horizontal one prematurely.
As it stands now it is not as consistant seemingly due to the lack of contact time allowed through this design.
More later :)
