A CHANGE OF TASTE: Shipment from Fiji, Tonga and SI arriving

HI everyone,

Due to high demands from our clients, I have arranged a shipment once again. We thought we'd SPICE it up a bit and bring in DIFFERENT stuffs than the Indo corals which we have been seeing alot lately.

This time, it will be coming from different regions mentioned...

Fiji
Tonga
Solomon Island

There will be very nice and colorful Acropora, Montipora, Zoos, leather corals and MANY other types of corals.

The shipment is scheduled to arrive on Saturday but we will let you know definite time of arrival once confirmation is received.

The flames are coming out of Hawaii which we anticipate a shipment from them by next week.

The reason why we cannot bring in variety of items from different regions is that WE DEAL DIRECTLY WITH THE EXPORTERS.

This means that for every shipment we bring in, we have to order alot of boxes and suppliers have minimum requirements.

EG. Indo suppliers require 500kg a shipment... thus, this will have approx. 30-35 boxes.

My point is... we have to bring in a shipment at a time and cannot, will not, bring in shipments from different regions at one time due to space issues.

So, we will have the following shipment schedules:

Saturday - Fiji, Tonga & Solomon Island corals

Next week - Bali WILD and CULTURED corals (Approx. 800-1000 pcs) *** NEEDS CONFIRMATION ***

October 26th - Hawaii fish shipment *** NEEDS CONFIRMATION ***

October 28th - Ricordea florida rocks & inverts

1st week Nov. - Red-Sea & Sri-Lanka fish & inverts

What types of corals usualy come in from Fiji ?

Same types that usually come in from other regions but have more bright colors especially on soft corals like zoos, acropora and others.

These regions also have stuffs that others don't have and vice versa.

Man, for the last two shipment the stuff didn't last long..... I need to start camping out :D
I only managed to get a Tri Color, and two nice Gonis from the last shipment....

When you say Florida rocks do you mean the ones with lots of Sponges, colourful Coraline algae, Clams etc. clinging to the rocks?

Balkos - Muck is right, the atlantic blues comes from the carribean. Thanks for clearing that up Muck.

Paulchi - Ricordea florida are type of mushrooms, anemones is what they sometimes call this. Here are sample pics of it.... all stores here bring them in by the polyps... we bring it in by the rocks.

It seems like we will be getting the shipment around earlier afternoon.

We will be taking pics of the corals that arrives and people are welcome to line up at the door while we do our business.

This way, everyone will have a chance to grab anything that is RARE and most favoured coral(s)
