Hi everyone,

Just recently received an email from my supplier that we will be receiving a shipment of Marshall Island ULTRA maxima clams & acropora next Friday.

We will have A. Tortuosa in stock. This will be very limited so frags will be available so everyone can have the chance to own one for those that don't have them.

Also, due to arrive next Friday are the following:

Sri-Lanka fish & inverts (eg. Carberryi & Evansi anthias)

Red-Sea fish & inverts (eg. Sohal & Purple tang, Golden butterfly)

LARGE Timor & Surabaya WILD & CULTURED Acropora, Montipora, Ric yuma, Acanthastrea, Bullseye mushrooms and many other RARE & COMMON corals for the ADVANCE & BEGINNER aquarists.

We now have the following salt mix in stock:

Tropic Marin PRO SERIES (200 gal)
Kent (200 gal)
Instant Ocean (200 gal & 160 gal) will arrive next week

Hope to see you all then.

I've never been to Reef Raft, so today (Sunday) I called in to make sure that it was open cuz I live ALL the way in Richmond Hill. I certainly didn't want to waste the trip driving down to Miss. to find out that it was closed. Anyway, they told me that they were open. I was soooooooo excited to pick up many exotic colourful corals. To my surprise traffic was quite busy for a Sunday. It took me almost a good hr to get there, but thinking about all the nice corals I could get would be well worth it. BUT GUESS WHAT????? I WAS IN A BIGGER *@$#*^ SURPRISE WHEN I GOT THERE!!!! THERE WAS NOBODY THERE;THE PLACE WAS CLOSED. NOW WHAT I WANT TO SAY TO REEF RAFT PEOPLE IS THAT MAYBE THEY CAN BE A LITTLE MORE PROFFESSIONAL AND NOT WASTE MY TIME!!! THESE DAYS GAS AIN'T CHEAP YOU KNOW !!!!!! SHAME ON YOU GUYS!!!

p.s. I've read similar complaints, but I thought I would still give them a chance for my business. Now...RIGHT!

Well things may happen....such as Emergency`s,did you call them afterwards to see if they were back before heading back to the Hills?Sometimes people are alone in the store when something arises and must shut the doors temporarily.

Hi Phatfishies,

I don't know where you ended up going but we were certainly here at the shop today at your mentioned time. I even had a person come in all the way from Montreal and by time he left... it was 3:09pm.

We are not here to waste anybody's time...

Do you think it might be possible that you went to the unit upstairs where we used to have the shop set up??????

Maybe, you can even ask KIREI, also a member of this board. I believe he called us around that time also or maybe even shortly after.

There were many occassions that people drop by here before & after the POSTED TIME and we are always kind enough to open the store for them.

So whatever your claims are, I can assure you that it is FALSE

Cheers

Well yes, that's exactly what happened. Maybe you ought to update your website info, especially the address.. (258-1650...). For a newbie like me, I found the info on your website before coming to AP. Common sense is to go to reefraft.ca if I wanted the address right?!

We definitely intend to do that, only the person that does my website is not around and infact, on vacation.

Maybe now that you know, you'll have a different OPINION about Reef Raft.

Thank you.

Seriously, cut the guys some slack. They have been busy opening a new store so that they can help everyone on here out. How about phoning their phone number when you get there to see what is going on. I'm sure they would have answered and simply directed you downstairs to the new store.

These guys are great guys. There are many people on here who can vouch for them.

Thanks guys....

I'm sure he is just frustrated as anyone would be. But really, I don't understand why phatfishies or anybody chooses to go to the forum and rant/slam others.

If anyone has an issue, it will be best dealt personally. Forums are a NOT the place for this. It is a place where we can all go to help each other, learn and find helpful and useful infos.

Absolutely right. It's not like the end of the world really. The AP site is where we all get together to absorb, share and assist each other with all the vast knowledge from everybody. It's supposed to be fun and I guess the thing about GAS is it's here to stay unfortunately.
I know I have learned a lot from his site and made some new friends as well.
PEACE UP!!

Guys, before ditching out all these bias comments. Why don't you take a little peek on my side of the fence. Am I supposed to know they have moved downstairs. I find it was hardly my fault for trusting the address on their website to be correct. As stated I found the AP site after their site. You know what?? I'm not here to argue who's right or wrong nor to influence you guys about Reef Raft. Yes, they might be great guys; yes, I could have called again or they could have left a sign on the door of the second floor. I was never a difficult customer to deal with all I was looking for was a simple apology like how most businesses would deal with customers for causing inconvenience due to their misleading info.. I have my own business as well; I would absolutely not hesitate to apologize to any of my customers for any aspects of incompetence -minor or not-of running my business. No further comment on my behalf.

I do not believe phatfishies or reefraft did anything wrong, both have expressed their side of things and things should end there.

As for "If anyone has an issue, it will be best dealt personally. Forums are a NOT the place for this. It is a place where we can all go to help each other, learn and find helpful and useful infos."

I believe if any business is not easy to deal with, people should be informed. Of course, Reefraft is not that in this case and is clearly explained on both sides. Let this accidential incident rest.

Patwa the prices are as follows:

Tropic Marin PRO series - $110 (200 gal)
Kent - $90 (200 gal)
IO - $80 (200 gal)
$70 (160 gal)

Duce... we are working on having this shipment ready for Saturday morning. There might be a slight delay again. Our suppliers are having a really tough times obtaining a space with the airlines due to the recent bombing in Indonesia and everyone are importing so it is a very busy season starting.

I will post as soon as I get confirmation

Thank you.
