Could I please get your thoughts as to the best test kits with the most accurate results/ease of reading. I gave a sample of water to Andrew to test, and his reading and my test readings were 100% opposite (mine 0 nitrate, his 80 nitrate). Time for new test kit! The kit came used with the tank, so what do you all use to test your water Thank you for all the input David

Lost1,
I use Seachem test kits for Calcium, Alkalinity, Strontium and Iodine. I use Pinpoint monitors for Salinity and pH

I like Salifert brand for my test kits. The only ones I seem to use anymore are Ca and Alk, and I also have a ph monitor that runs continuously.

Having a preditor tank, I am most concerned with ammonia, nitrate and nitrate tests

I have used salifert nitrite and found them to be fairly user friendly.
