Thanks for your help before. Now I have two problems.

I have small Blue Tang she is getting lots of white spots on her. She eats, move and breathe fine. She rub herself to rocks sometimes. Other fishs are fine. I read about Garlic treatment. Is there any medication I can get from LFS and will it do anything to my corals. I have two cleaner shrimp but they hide all the time because of Trigger. I am feeding them frozen food once a day.

The other problem I have is brown algea. Water readings are fine. I keep light on for 13 hours plus there is lots of sun light in room.

Thanks for your response.

The white spots most likely ick (bad). Can you catch that tang with out stressing it more? Ick is caused by stress. What is the size comparison between the trigger and the tang? Blue tangs are not as aggressive as other tangs the trigger may be the cause of stress. If you can remove the tang and put in QT treat for ick it may have a better chance, make sure you have some thing for it to hide in hippo tangs love to hide.
The brown stuff is algae usually is seen in early in a cycle. How long has your tank been up and running ? Check your water parameters see. Can also be caused from over feeding.
Not to be rude but I just noticed you only have a 45 gal tank , the fish you have in your tank require a lot I mean a lot of swim space. May I suggest you reduce your live stock ?

You are way overstocked for a 45 gal. Definitely reduce your livestock count or you take a chance at losing most of them to stress. Especially putting two Tangs in with a Trigger in a space that small.

Yes you are right I have to take out some fish’s especially Trigger I think Aquariumservices will take it back for 12$. Another question if I reduce light time will it affect coral. There is lots of light at day time so if I turn off at day time and close to dark I turn on light will it effect corals. Actually my corals are doing great they are growing very nicely.

I appreciate your help.

Lighting preference is your choice but will likely not help with your problems.
Might I suggest you replace the tangs with a pygmy angel or dwarf angel.
Your tangs will continue to get ick do to the confined space.

I returned the Trigger and now I am taking risk with Kick-Ick. It’s been four day's and there is no sign of white spots. I read on couple of forms that it will come back more then before. Do I have to complete 15 day's treatment?

Lesson learned hard way not to use Kick-Ick. My Blue Tang is not eating and not moving at all. Actually I thought she is dead so I took it out but suddenly she starts moving so I guess there is still little life left. Do you think it’s too late for hospital tank? She is having hard time breathing. If she survives by the time I get home what should I get for hospital tank?

My thinking is 10G, Heater, Small Filter, I have enough lighting in room, PVC for hiding, Cooper test kit, Cooper (Medication).

Is it ok to use my aquarium water, as I don’t have time to prepare water?

Is there anything else I should know?

I have to try saving this fish because my daughter bought her from her saved money.

I appreciate your help.

Thanks

How big is your tang? I'm thinking 10 gallon is to small.
Also check your water parameters. So you can see what exactly is happening.

She is very small around 2'. Water parameters are fine. I had algae problem before but Turbo Snails took care of it.

Thanks for help.

By the way you described your tang , she may not be alive when you get home.
Also you said something about a lesson learned about Kick-Ick, what did you mean by that?

Before I used Kick-Ick the Blue Tang was eating, breathing and moving around fine. There were lots of white spots on her. So I decided to use Kick-Ick. I did some research and from LFS I thought its Ok to take risk then let her die without any try. After first medication all the spots disappeared and fish look fine in eating and moving but after second doze it just collapse. There are no white spots on her but she is not eating and having trouble breathing. I followed all the instruction and dosage. So its best to use hospital tank or leave fish on her own as long as they are eating fine then killing ourself from these products which cost money too.
