Grabbed this Mycedium last week. It was in terrible shape when it arrived (courier problems) but has almost recovered completely after I fragged some of the bad areas.
Also a pic of the areas that I fragged with the tissue now regenerating in some areas there also. Looks like I may have some for sale in a couple of weeks.

How do you know someone else didn't e-mail instead of public post in classifieds??

BTW thats a really nice mycedium - it looks like echinophyllia. Very nice colours on it though..

Chrismo, the eyes will actually be a fluorescent green. The ones that look yellow are the recovering areas.

Holy tugnoli! Where did you get that from? That looks like a Tyree Alien Eye!. It's a shame it got damaged. I'd like to get a piece of one of those frags, once they've setteled a bit... ?

You sure its Mycedium? I thought those had polyps which always pointed away from the centre of the coral? I woulda guessed Echnophylia, just because thats top of mind right now.

I've been trying to find an image converter to get a pic on RC and see what they think. I bought it for the very reason that it may be an alien eye. The site I got it from listed it as Mycedium.

Coral got knocked over today so I figured I'd snap a couple pics while putting it back in place. Gotta love them hermits eh!
Gonna try and get these on RC and see what they think about it being "Alien Eye".

Not sure how fast it is going to grow. It has regained an inch of the skeleton that was not covered after fragging. Still interested?
